1. Le Dit Vin (68 Rue
Blanche, Paris):
There is a large wine selection, and the food is flavourful
and delicious. The menu changes every day dependent on what is fresh, so all I
can recommend as a continuous is the Cheese
Plate.
2. Moeders (Rozengracht
251, Amsterdam):
This restaurant is well-known for serving traditional Dutch
cuisine. This is a small place full with portraits of people’s mothers with
outdoor seating in the summer. The best value is the Dutch sampler for two,
where you may sample a heaping of traditional Dutch food, including many
cabbage, potatoes and meat.
3. U Medvídku (Na
Perštýn 7, Prague):
This is really one of the oldest in the city and wherever I get
my tour groups each year. Czech food is heavy on the meat and potatoes, and
this spot is no exemption. Here you can come across a delicious collection of
home-brewed beer, thick potato dumplings, heavy goulash, duck and completely-cooked
pork.
4. Pancakes!
(Berenstraat 38, Amsterdam):
This serves traditional Dutch pancakes: big thin, crêpelike
pancakes with tons of tasty toppings. This is small, so try to keep away from
peak eating times as the wait can get quite long. Large portions form this
place worth your time and money.
Thanks a ton for blogging this, it was very helpful and told a ton. hotels frankfurt oder
